暑假後感

話咁快暑假完了，今年的暑假很充實，當六月尾請小組為我有個充實暑假祈禱，神又再一次聽禱告，亦再一次學習承擔禱告實現的後果。這不是一件壞事，雖然很忙碌，但我經歷多了，有更多的故事同人家分享，我很感恩。

想慢慢將這兩個月發生的事同大家分享。

暑假通常較少學生需要補習，但想不到，我的學生居然有五至六個，有些更一星期補不只一次，我忙得沒時間運動，我的收入亦不成問題。

當七月尾，summer school學生陸續離開，有為家長請我"babysit"兩星期，繼續維持了我的收入。

踏入八月，Einstein's Meal開始。我居然仍有兩個補習學生。我亦終於多了一點時間去約一約朋友晚膳。

上星期，我的最最最好朋友來探我。我們行了五個小時山。回想十多年前，做過同樣的事，今天居然差點拐了。原因只有一個：老了。

明天要開學。還記得三個月前找到自己的passion. 下一步，就正如小組的教導，是hard-working. 要記住自己點解咁樣行這條路啊！同埋，唔駛驚，神的供應是充足有餘的。

This is the new Vietnamese Restaurant @ No.3 Road. That's the previous location of 兩可. Unlike the trivial vietnamese restaurant, 味 establishes a clean, healthy environment for customers.

The utensils are specially selected... for the right-handed =P

It is clean, romantic, healthy (no msg!).. but i was still very thirsty afterwards...

Koen + ice cream

My mom is having fun baby-sitting my friend's baby Koen. He is such an adorable boy. When we were testing our ice cream recipe out, we gave him a bit of our "product" as he LOVES eating...

At the Zoo

Honey took me to the Vancouver Zoo and the most exciting part was me talking to the parrot:




Jan: Are you sure you are talking to the parrot?
Me: yes.
Jan: Do you know what is "talking"? Talking is two-way...
Me: heehee... yes. I said "Hello" and he said "hello" I guess that's a two-way conversation. =D

Einstein's Meal Preview - Playdough

These two weeks, I'll be working with two fun little ladies in the morning. To have some fun with them, we did something that's going to happen in the Einstein's Meal class~~ Making *edible* playdough!!!

That's what we made and the ladies are selling them!

今日同朋友做gym被人問我們幾大，駛唔駛俾張student咭我們

嘩！耶穌同我咁大都出來傳道了，仲俾人問夠唔夠稱，都唔知是讚定係彈。

估唔到收肚腩可以有咁大的吸引力。

學琴

媽告訴我澳洲細表弟考上了七級鋼琴試，還有Ａ級成績。

但表弟沒打算以教琴為生才工具回報父母多年來的「投資」。

我禁不住問：「乜唔係唔計回報咩？」

究竟學琴還是否我小時候聽的「培養興趣」呢？

這是否回應了：

...他們不過是履歷表主義、實用主義：考名牌中學時沒有八級鋼琴很難跑出云云...

Water Bottle

After reading a lot about BPA-containing bottle, I was a little bit concern about it. Though it won't be considered as "toxic" if you use it properly. Yet, it's better to keep yourself away from it and so... I was planning to get a metal water bottle. What a thoughtful friend to get me this cute little bottle as a birthday present!

My First Birthday Trip

My first birthday trip this year is to Vancouver Aquarium! My gym friend and I took a bus there! hahahha... it was actually fun =D

I meet these Jelly fish again =) I first saw them in Monterey Bay Aquarium.

and these these kinds of jelly fish too...

this is a comb-like sea animal... i don't remember what they are called.

so cool to see big big turtle!!!

these are sea eels but they look like snakes to me!
They are watching out for each other...

waaaah.. this one looks like a monster dinosaur thing to me.

very active frogs

these frogs seem like stones. but they are real.

finally!! very funny dolphin walk.

they are doing some tricks to entertain us.

sea otter is always sth fun to watch.

and then this big sea lion! i bet it weighs over 500kg

this new born beluga is so cute!!! funny that it is grey but not white!
that reminds me of swan and ugly duckling.

爸：哎呀，我有想過，不過出面街吃那些也是成棵放在碟旁嘛
我：爸，那些叫做伴碟（不是吃的）

深深淺淺

對於補習學生來說，每一條題目不是easy(淺)，就是difficult(深)。

面對淺的題目，做得好開心，又會因太淺而唔做住。

面對深的題目，會拗哂頭，發脾氣，唔肯學，唔肯做。

我又係咪咁呢？
