My First Birthday Trip

My first birthday trip this year is to Vancouver Aquarium! My gym friend and I took a bus there! hahahha... it was actually fun =D

I meet these Jelly fish again =) I first saw them in Monterey Bay Aquarium.

and these these kinds of jelly fish too...

this is a comb-like sea animal... i don't remember what they are called.

so cool to see big big turtle!!!

these are sea eels but they look like snakes to me!
They are watching out for each other...

waaaah.. this one looks like a monster dinosaur thing to me.

very active frogs

these frogs seem like stones. but they are real.

finally!! very funny dolphin walk.

they are doing some tricks to entertain us.

sea otter is always sth fun to watch.

and then this big sea lion! i bet it weighs over 500kg

this new born beluga is so cute!!! funny that it is grey but not white!
that reminds me of swan and ugly duckling.

Bye!! too bad we were in a rush... looking forward to coming again =D

Seattle trip

The first stop of our trip is to see the Dead sea Scrolls exhibition @ Pacific Science Center.

Thanks to JP coz he's a very good tour guide.
I can understand what it means by 盡地主之宜。

After dinner, he took us to the new football field.

Which is called the Qwest Field.

Right beside it, there's softball field

then he took us to the Starbuck headquarter.

and u can c the big logo..

Standing on the Alki beach, you can see the entire view of downtown Seattle.
which is amazing!
too bad that my camera couldn't catch the view well =(

next day, as we took off from JP's home, we passed the longest float bridge in the world:

the main purpose of the trip was to visit my friend flying from australia.
but she came to Vancouver the day I wanna meet with her.
so, instead of having lunch @ Seattle, we had dim sum @ Vancouver instead.

my 2nd trip to calgary

i am glad that i haven't missed the "historic" moment of delivering my friend back from Calgary to Vancouver.
i felt like i was "witnessing" sth in her life and i am so honored to be part of it.
i have never helped anyone move.
all the packing.... it's not just the clothes and furniture, but also the friendship, the heart, the feelings.
what makes us miss most? the answer is always the people there. the relationship that we've built up that we treasure.
yes. i m glad i was there. i just wanna carry her through the whole process...
but... i know that she has to face it herself. sort it out. let it settle...
yeah.. all i can promise is.. i'll lend u my shoulder n hug.
n i'll pray w/ u cry w/ u get crazy w/ u laugh w/ u eat popcorn w/ u.

it was so much fun to have GC being there.
she's such a funny girl who brought me lots of laughters.
guess i've teased on her too much that i wanna apologize here.
n that's y i make her good good breakfast for the two past mornings. =D
u know what, we've never thought of leaving u alone.
so.. don't be scare!
