buying shoes

had a fun fun fun sunday afternoon for going shopping w/ the cute cute cyrus.
me and sweetheart were checking out sports shoes and cyrus was like an expert and explained many "shoes" facts to us.
we can't decide which pair to get.
then he said, "ai.. girls buy sports shoes? any shoes that r good looking is fine."
wow!
i replied, "nope, it has to be comfortable too" so i kept asking him which one is THE BEST.
he's annoyed n said, "buying shoes is like choosing boyfriend, u dunno which one fits u until u try them on"
wow wow!!
responding to this fact, i said, "well, if i know that those shoes r not comfortable, i won't even bother trying them on."
but then when i talked to sweetheart at night, i found that if the shoes r not that pricy, we would have bought them anyway even though they r bad but good-looking.
and what abt those in the shop today? we are not unable to afford the sports shoes in the store.
it's just... we think it's not worthwhile.
we are still looking for the best fit: comfortable n good-looking n reasonable cost ones.
in the mean time, i still stick w/ the old pair i wear for a year though it hurts me for a while, n i've overcome with it.
