on the way back from drumheller to calgary...

we stop by horseshoe canyon... which is very pretty!

recent finished reading

the third non-chemistry book i read in the year: The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime.
it's fun in the beginning... w/ lots of math and logical stuff in it.
sometimes we r as picky and as stubborn as the main character.
sometimes, i would think i am as strange as the main character while not understanding what the fxxxing world is going on around me.
that non-stop writing style w/ lots of swearing and combining both britisth and american language in it kinda like the flow of my thinking and in fact makes it easier for me to understand! it's like oral english... i just don't like the ending... but well... it may not be a bad ending for a broken family described in this book.
recommended... if u want another 200 pages of fun reading n if u have a rational mind, u'll like it.

dinosaurs!

yeah.. finally... @ the dinosaurs town.
i'd love to have people guess the name of this town.
so far.. only one person got it all right provided that she has no tips.

this town has 3 syllables in english.
1st: bum bum bum bum
2nd: the opposite of heaven
3rd: macdonald's sister

@ the downtown visitor information center....

this is y i like my friend so much as she'll pretend whatever i ask her to... =D

we both tried to pretend... dinosaurs

Then we visited the hoodoos, which are seasand pillars.
We expected sth as huge as the mountains but it turned out to be like dwarf...

This one looks so much like Mary (Jesus' mom).. well... maybe we should say a jewish lady?

Next station is Coal Mine Center.
And I am practising my "gwa ball hey kung"......

surprise surprise

sunday; airport; when i was sms-ing my friend and waiting for my luggage...
three people were talking behind me.
n i thought i was blocking some people's way to pick up luggages.
so i just move myself a bit.
n when i tried to peek who r those annoying people....
=O they were my friends who came to pick me up from the airport!
this is the first time that i've been picked up surprisely.
i was expecting flowers and banners... u know.. just like those superstar visiting hk ma....
hahha.. but anyway.. i was so excited.

thursday; yuen heung...
for the last two months, i always had dinner w/ CC after our tai chi class.
n this thursday, since we had a volunteer meeting plus she kept requesting a birthday dinner w/ me, i decided to give face to her and let her treat me a good dinner.
but when i look into the restaurant, there were familiar faces.
i thought, "gum arm gei?" "sic fan ah?"
but they were actually there to surprise me!
haha... n there's even a cake! the mango ice-cream cake...
very pretty n yummy ah...
