talking to mom last night n she mentioned abt my e cheung (uncle... mom's sis' husband) treating my aunt very very nice n listen to her n blah blah blah... n she said it's nice to have a "nam bok" (male servant)... n she continued.. yeah.. your dad is so smart to get a "lui bok" (female servant) at home....
think my mom is a bit... hmmmm....
another funny thing was, my mom told me that she has to take care of the tropical fish of #12.
n #6 is going back to philipine n we have to pick up letters for them.
n #2 is leaving for china in a month n we have to check out sth for them
n #5 left us $$ to pay for some fee as they'll be away for a week...
(alright.. in case u r confused. we are #13. it's the unit number of our town house.)
i can't resist asking my mom: when did we become the "koon nei chu" (management office)?
n of cos, my mom burst into laughter....
then i told my mom... y don't u go for a vacation too as everyone is leaving?
my mom replied, nope, i need to take care of the fish of #12....
yeah... my mom is a servant... not just for the family, but for the neighborhood...

Count it a blessing that your mom has such big heart and helps out her neighbours. I think your willingness to serve others will match if not surpass your mom's. BTW, can you wash my car while I'm in HK in August? thanks in advance.
